Three Hymn Embellishments

A compilation of settings arranged by the composer for worship and hymn festival events which are similar in function to the Festive Hymn Settings series. THE ASH GROVE has a music box style Introduction followed by two energetic accompaniments that support each stanza. ES IST DAS HEIL receives a Renaissance treatment utilizing open fifths, tambourines, and optional handbells. OLD HUNDREDTH uses an extant J. G. Walther setting as an Introduction and includes a variety of organ treatments to support the text. Reproducible congregational and instrumental parts included.
