The Developing Drummer

The Developing Drummer by Aric Branchfield is a collection of easy to intermediate solos and duets for snare drum. Rudiments are confined to rolls, paradiddles, and flams. Stick clicks and playing on the rim are staples to help break up the monotony of sound. Dynamics play a prominent role in preparing the player for work in an ensemble. Don’t be afraid to try different drums for different solos!
