A dreamy, romantic style is the hallmark of this G-major solo that will be easily accessible to early-intermediate students. Broken fifths in each hand set the stage in the A section and are used to move the hands around the keyboard. Various five-finger patterns are explored throughout the piece. The unique B section features the melody in the right hand with the left hand crossing over for the accompaniment one octave above. The return of A and the short coda based on the opening fifths help to create a solo that will be easy to memorize.
