Tim Sharp
Tim Sharp is Executive Director of ACDA, who as an active choral conductor and researcher/writer, has varied his career with executive positions in both higher education and publishing and recording. Dr. Sharp's research and writing focuses pedagogically in conducting and score analysis. Published essays betray his eclectic interests in acoustics, architecture, creativity, and aesthetics. He is also published in the area of eighteenth and nineteenth century American music. Tim has conducted university, church, community, and children’s choirs, conducted ACDA and MENC all‐state and honor choirs, and formed choirs in such unlikely settings as a federal penitentiary and a chamber of commerce meeting. His choirs have toured domestically and abroad, singing in some of the world’s premiere concert and acoustic settings. He has recently been appointed Artistic Director/ Conductor of the Tulsa Oratorio Chorus.

Jim Papoulis
Composer & Producer, Jim Papoulis, has a distinctive musical style that combines contemporary sounds with musical traditions from around the globe. Traveling worldwide, he works with international artists and ensembles in order to explore and create a sound for a global community. This multi-cultural sound has become the cornerstone of his works for choirs, orchestras, and ensembles. In 1993 Papoulis founded, AMPHION MUSIC, a full-service music production company, specializing in composing and recording original music and orchestrations for films, commercials, dance, and ensembles. For the past five years Papoulis has toured with the SOUNDS OF A BETTER WORLD= small voices calling world-wide concert series. He has worked with children's choirs in China, South America, Africa, Russia, Europe, and throughout the United States.

Janet Galván
Dr. Janet Galván is a professor at and conducts the Ithaca College Women's Chorale, the Ithaca College Chorus, and is Artistic Director for the Ithaca Children's Choir. Her choral ensembles have appeared at national, regional, and state music conferences, and has been a guest conductor and clinician in the North & South America and Europe as well as national and regional choral and music education conferences and the World Symposium on Choral Music. In 1995 she received the ACDA NY Outstanding Choral Director Award, was the conductor for the ACDA national honor choir, and the North American Children’s Choir. Janet has been recognized as one of the country’s leading conducting teachers, and her students have received first place awards and have been finalists in the ACDA biennial National Choral Conducting Competition. Galván has two choral music series with the Roger Dean Publishing Company. She is also the series advisor to Latin Accents, a series with Boosey & Hawkes.
